Documentation

Description:
This dataset provides hourly footfall metrics at H3 level 10 granularity (hexagons of approx. 66m radius). The metrics are built using the mobile trace data generated by a representative panel of anonymous users. The dataset is hourly and includes observed and extrapolated number of users/signals, mode (pedestrian/non-pedestrian) and the average dwell-time score (all available in the daily footfall dataset at H3 level 11). The dataset also contains the type of visit (resident/worker/transient), as well as reach and footfall score metrics.

Access

Access Service:
All users of HASP Safeguarded Data will have to complete appropriate (as determined by HASP) safe researcher training before access to any HASP Safeguarded Data is granted. Outputs created by the user are not checked or approved by HASP as analysis is completed on a user’s own machine, although are governed by the terms for which the projects were agreed. The level of data granularity for this service is decreased relative to the HASP Secure Service; although user and project approval procedures remain the same.
