This dataset looks at the median yearly income of current account holders. The metric is calculated as a portion of the total income for an account. Specifically, only subcategories of income classified as salary, benefits or regular pension payments are included. Where these subcategories are available, the Salary-Benefits-Pension income is calculated for each account from the preceding 13 weeks and multiplied to give a yearly figure. The median is then taken to provide a regional figure.
